TalkSport understands that Dele Alli, one of the stars of MK Dons’ 4-0 thrashing of Manchester United in the second round of the League Cup last month, has signed a new contract with the League One club.
The eighteen year old had attracted attention from Premier League heavyweights after his performance against Louis van Gaal’s men, with both Manchester City and Liverpool linked with moves to secure his services.
However, he has put pen to paper on a new three-year deal with the Dons, which will keep him at Stadium MK until the summer of 2017.
Despite his age, Alli has made over fifty club appearances since making his debut in a 0-0 draw with Cambridge United in the FA Cup when he was just sixteen.
He has three goals in seven league appearances so far this season, the latest of which coming in Saturday’s dramatic 5-3 win over Barnsley.
