Alli set for improved Spurs deal

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to offer Dele Alli an improved contract, according to the Metro.

The nineteen year old has been in fine form for the North London outfit so far this season, racking up sixteen appearances in all competitions, scoring twice.

His performances have also gained him senior international recognition, and he netted his first England goal in Tuesday’s win over France at Wembley.

Alli was handed a £12,000 per week contract when he signed from Milton Keynes Dons during the last winter transfer window and he is now set to see his wages doubled.

Prior to his switch to White Hart Lane, Alli played eighty-eight times for the Dons, scoring twenty-four goals including sixteen in their promotion winning 2014/15 campaign.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side face West Ham United on Sunday afternoon and Alli can be backed at a price of 11/4 to score at any time in the game.
