(GSM) – It was already rumoured on Wednesday but it has now been affirmed: Halil Altintop joins Eintracht Frankfurt. The Schalke 04 striker has signed a six-month deal at Frankfurt.
27-year-old Altintop was in his fourth season at Schalke but hasn’t been on coach Felix Magath’s mind this season. The Turkish forward has only started twice this season.
His contract in Gelsenkirchen was set to expire this summer.
It didn’t took Altintop long to find a new employer after he got permission from Schalke to talk with other clubs. He will sign a six-month contract at Frankfurt, who currently are seventh in the Bundesliga.
