Real Madrid midfielder Hamit Altintop is on the verge of sealing his move to Galatasaray, Marca understands.
The Turkish winger arrived to Santiago Bernabeu last summer on a free transfer from Bayern Munich, but was never given a real chance to fight for a starting berth.
After expressing his desire to leave this summer, the 29-year-old was given permission to speak to Galatasaray and Marca claims the player’s representatives have already reached an agreement with the Turkish club.
According to the agreement, the player will be earning €3 million per season, which is exactly the same salary as the one he was earning in Madrid.
All that’s left is for the two clubs to agree on the transfer fee, which will be anywhere between €2m and €3m.
Altintop, who made just 5 La Liga appearances last season, will thus get an opportunity to test his skills in Turkish Super Lig for the first time in his career.
