Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is reportedly keen on joining Chelsea in the summer transfer window, AS can reveal.
The Spain international has become fed up with playing second fiddle to Karim Benzema despite producing superior performances this season and he has decided to leave the club for greener pastures.
Morata has a long list of admirers among top European clubs that includes Juventus, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham, and he hopes to move to England at the end of the season.
The Spaniard would like to be reunited with Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, but the Blues will not have an easy job securing his signature.
Alvaro Morata, 24, has been in excellent form this season, scoring 13 goals in 1,145 minutes of La Liga football, whereas his rival for a starting berth Karim Benzema bagged mere 9 in 1,648 minutes.
