Radio Monte Carlo has suggested that Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo could be moving back to English Premier League.
The former Manchester City forward only joined los Che in the summer, as an obligatory €30 million release clause was triggered, but he has since encountered numerous problems.
While often playing second fiddle to Paco Alcacer, Negredo was also left out of the match squad two times in a row after complaining about being played out of position.
As a result, Valencia could decide to cash in on the 30-year-old in January, with several Premier League sides keen on the striker’s services.
Marseille coach Michel is another big fan of the experienced forward, but the player’s €4 million yearly wage is outside OM’s price range.
Following the 2-1 loss to Atletico Madrid at Vicente Calderon, Valencia can be backed at 4/9 to defeat local rivals Levante next weekend and avoid slipping into the bottom half of the standings.
