(GSM) – Dani Alves has insisted that he is happy at Barcelona and not worried about his future despite ongoing speculation over his new deal.

The Brazil international, who has less than two years remaining on his contract, has yet to be offered an extension.

And reports in Spain have claimed Manchester City are ready to take advantage of the uncertainty, but the 27-year-old says he is happy with the current situation.

“I am not worried about it at all,” he said. “I have a contract and am settled so if they (Barca) propose something then fantastic, but if not then that is fine.”

Alves also criticised Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who left Barca for Milan after just one season at Camp Nou.

“Perhaps Ibra lacked patience,” he said. “Maybe he didn’t fit in our team and the way we play and didn’t wait long enough to adapt.”
