Ethan Ampadu has signed a new contract with Chelsea, according to Sky Sports.
The teenager has put pen to paper on a new deal which will see him tied to the London club until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
He is yet to feature under new boss Maurizio Sarri, though he played seven times last term under his predecessor Antonio Conte.
Just one of those outings came in the Premier League, with most of his game time coming in the EFL and FA Cups.
Prior to his move to Stamford Bridge, he made thirteen appearances for Exeter City in his first season as a senior professional.
He has been capped four times for Wales and started both of their recent UEFA Nations League fixtures – particularly catching the eye in the 4-1 win over the Republic of Ireland.
Chelsea kick off their Europa League against PAOK on Thursday evening, and are favourites to win the competition at 11/2.
