Ancelotti admits to Carroll admiration

(GSM) – Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti admits that he is an admirer of Newcastle United striker Andrew Carroll’s talents.

Carroll has been compared to Chelsea’s Didier Drogba and the Blues have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old.

But while Ancelotti likes Carroll’s abilities, the Italian tactician believes the Newcastle forward has to improve to be a top striker like Drogba.

Ancelottitold the Sun: “Carroll is a very good striker. He’s young and has a chance, working hard, to arrive at the same level as Drogba.

“But they are different players. Drogba has more power and ability to score different kinds of goals, while Carroll is good in the air but has to improve.”
