(GSM) – Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has admitted he would like to bring Liverpool ace Fernando Torres to Stamford Bridge.
Torres’ future at Anfield has been the subject of conjecture in recent weeks following Liverpool’s failure to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League and their much-publicised financial problems.
Chelsea star Didier Drogba fuelled rumours of a move for Torres by revealing earlier this week the Spaniard would be his ideal strike partner.
Ancelotti has now refused to rule out a move for Torres, with Manchester City also thought to be weighing up a mega bid for the player.
“It’s not only Drogba – I would like to play with Torres. He’s a very good player,” said Ancelotti.
