Paris Saint-Germain boss Carlo Ancelotti has moved to reject speculations linking the Saints with a move for Inter striker Giampaolo Pazzini.
The Italian manager is hardly spoilt for choices in attack seeing that Kevin Gameiro and Giullaume Hoarau are the only genuine strikers in the squad, and PSG are expected to enter the market in search for a new centre forward.
The Saints were, therefore, linked with a move for Inter star Giampaolo Pazzini, but Carlo Ancelotti has denied such speculations.
“We already have Guillaume (Hoarau), they have the same characteristics,” Ancelotti said at a press conference on Friday.
“Hoarau is doing a good job at the moment, I have total confidence in him. I do not think we need (Pazzini).”
The Italian is, nonetheless, happy with the transfer budget allocated to him for the summer transfer window.
“We will be competitive. We do not need to change everything. The group has a good balance.
”We have five years, which means we have time to use all the money.”
Paris Saint-Germain are leading the race in French Ligue 1, but they sit just one point in front of Montpellier.
The early exit from Europa League means that a failure to win league title would make this season a big disappointment.
