(GSM) – Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is said to be ‘disillusioned’ at his lack of control over first-team issues following the club’s controversial sacking of the Italian’s assistant manager Ray Wilkins, according to ESPN.

Ancelotti said that other managers, like Sir Alex Ferguson, would not suffer from interferences from their club’s boards.

Ancelotti said: “If you have to compare me with Ferguson, it’s a different position.

“Ferguson has total control of the team – I have just technical direction. Full stop.”

The injury-hit champions have now been defeated in three of their four last Premier League games.

To make things worse for Ancelotti, the Blues’ board promoted scout Michael Emenalo without the Italian manager’s approval.
