(GSM) – Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti praises Internazionale boss Jose Mourinho as a special person, who won two consecutive Premier League titles in 2005 and 2006 with Chelsea.
The 50-year-old Italy tactician can even go one better than Jose Mourinho if he wins the FA Cup later this month, as not even the Special One won England’s most prestigious double in his first year.
Ancelotti told the La Gazzetta dello Sport about Mourinho’s legacy at the Bridge, “Jose won two League titles with Chelsea after half a century of drought. He will always remain special.
“He sent me a message: ‘Champagne, Carlo, congratulations’. Very nice.”
Ancelotti then revealed that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich didn’t come down hard on him after Blues lost to Mourinho’s Inter in the Champions League.
“Roman didn’t whip us. He immediately moved his sights to the Premier League and the FA Cup,” Blues’ boss explained.
