Ancelotti quashes Roma rumours

Carlo Ancelotti insists that he is fully focused on Chelsea at the moment and that he plans to honour his contract at Stamford Bridge.

The Italian boss was linked with a summer move to Roma, but he is adamant that the time is still not right for his return to Italy.

“My dream is to train Roma because Roma was my first team as a player.

“But it’s a dream. In future I would like to do this. Not now. Now I want to live this experience here in England.

“I still have another year after this one and I would like to stay. I expect to still be here the summer after this one.”

“It’s impossible to stay here for 24 years like Sir Alex Ferguson has at Manchester United, but more than three years, that is my aim.

“What do I have to do to still be here next year? My best.”
