Catalan daily newspaper Sport claims that Carlo Ancelotti plans to lure Real Madrid stars Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez to Allianz Arena.
The former los Blancos coach will take over the reigns at Bayern Munich next summer and he is already thinking about summer reinforcements.
And with Robert Lewandowski reportedly having agreed a summer move to Real Madrid, Ancelotti wants Karim Benzema to replace him at Allianz Arena.
Considering that Alvaro Morata is also expected to return to Santiago Bernabeu, the Frenchman would be allowed to leave next summer.
At the same time, Ancelotti will make a move on James Rodriguez, another player who is linked with Real Madrid exit.
Los Blancos chiefs have not been impressed with the Colombian’s performances this season and they could decide to cash in on his services at the end of the current campaign.
Both clubs are expected to challenge for the Champions League trophy this term, with Bayern Munich priced at 11/4 at the moment.
