(GSM) – Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen to sign Real Madrid playmaker Kaka, according to News of the World. After capturing the double this season, Ancelotti has his sights on winning the treble next season.

According to the paper, Blues owner Roman Abramovich is ready to fund his move for the Brazilian. What might help Chelsea is the fact that Kaka would not welcome a move to wealthy rivals Manchester City as Roberto Mancini’s side failed to make it to the Champions League.

Kaka played Ancelotti for six years when the duo was at Milan. If signed, Kaka will fit right into Ancelotti’s favorite diamond formation.

The Brazilian, who is set to go to the World Cup with his national team, has endured a difficult first season in Madrid after he moved to Real for £56 million.

However, with a managerial change set to take place at the Santiago Bernabeu, the final decision regarding Kaka’s future will be in the hands of the new manager.
