Ander Herrera close to joining PSG

Manchester United could be losing a midfield player this summer. Ander Herrera is close to joining Paris Saint-Germain, MARCA are reporting. It was first reported by The Sun that the Spaniard has been on the radar of the Parisian club, but now it is Spanish media outlet claiming they understand the deal could happen soon.

Herrera’s brilliant performances since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might not be enough for him to prolong his stay at the club, as PSG seem really interested in him. The midfielder could be earning 173 thousand euros per week if he is to agree the deal, MARCA claim, which is around nine million euros per season! The sum of 7.7 million pounds per year would be hard to turn down, it is explained in the report.

The player has joined Man United in 2014 and this season it was often reported whether he was going to sign a new contract at the club. He might still do that, but the Devils might need to improve their offer if they are to keep him.
