Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has made it clear he doesn’t want to leave Old Trafford, according to The Telegraph.
New Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde is keen to bring his former player to Camp Nou, but the problem is that the 27-year-old doesn’t seem to be interested.
Namely, Herrera has developed into a key member of the squad at Old Trafford and he is tipped to take over the captain’s armband from Wayne Rooney.
The highly rated midfielder is eager to impress at Manchester United that he will not even consider proposals from abroad.
Herrera has just over a year on his current deal, but he will soon be offered a lucrative long-term contract and is widely expected to commit his future to the Red Devils.
The Spaniard was voted club’s Player of the Season and also won Man of the Match award in the Europa League final against Ajax.
