RSC Anderlecht and Club Brugge did as expected on Saturday, to beat RAEC Mons and FC Verbroedering Dender respectively.

Standard de Liege had already beaten Kortrijk 0-2 on Friday and pressure was on Anderlecht and Brugge to do the same.

Mons had a great start at Anderlecht in Brussels. Moussa Gueye scored the opener on 14 minutes and Cedric Collet doubled the advantage on the half hour.

But Victor Bernandez got one back just before the break and Tom de Sutter equalised in the 69th. The winning goal came from Roland Juhasz with ten minutes to go.

Club Brugge headed for a goalless draw at Dender, but Daniel Chavez finally broke the deadlock on 89 minutes. The Peruvians added a second goal a minute later.

Standard remain in first place with two points more than Anderlecht, but did play a match more.
