(GSM) – Anderlecht maintain their advantage in the Belgian league following a 2-0 win over Genk, while Club Brugge earned a narrow win over Roeselare.

After a goalless first half in Brussels, Anderlecht needed just five minutes in the second for Romelo Lukaku to score the opener.

Two minutes before the end, Tom de Sutter made it 2-0 to decide the clash.

Brugge beat Roeselare 1-0 thanks to a 82nd-minute goal from Dorge Kouemaha, but the match will be remembered for its red cards. Brugge’s Jonathan Blondel was sent off in the 32nd minute, but was followed by opponents Anthony van Loo (56th) and Bjarni Vidarsson (72nd).

Anderlecht have an eight-points lead over Brugge with one game to go. After the end of this regular season, the top six will continue to battle for the title. At that point, the points will be divided by two.
