One of the hottest properties in European football today and one of the most exciting football talents in general, Youri Tielemans, is set to leave the Belgian giants Anderlecht.
Anderlecht have moved to confirm that Youri Tielemans will be travelling to Monaco today, where he will complete his medical tests over the next 48 hours and finalise his move to French champions.
The 20-year-old highly-rated midfield star personally wanted to wrap up the deal as quickly as possible so that he can concentrate of his duties with the Belgium national team.
The Belgian heavyweights Anderlecht will earn the total of €30 million for their star’s transfer with €25 million in fixed transfer fee and additional €5 in performance-related bonuses.
Anderlecht will also earn 10% from Youri Tielemans’ next sale.
The 20-year-old hot-shot will sign a five-year contract that will see him earn approximately €2 million per season, double the amount he earned at Anderlecht.
