Anderlecht hotshot Dennis Praet has moved to reveal that Europa League holders Sevilla are one of the sides showing interest in his signature.
The 21-year-old has already caught the eye of Europe’s top sides, and was even linked with a summer exit over the past few weeks.
Praet ultimately remained with the Belgian giants, but now reveals that Sevilla and few other top clubs were keen on his services.
“I could have gone to Sevilla. I don’t want to get into the names of clubs,” the talented footballer was quoted as saying in Estadio Deportivo.
“I only know that at the beginning of the summer there was a lot of interest. Sometimes I thought I would leave but in the end there wasn’t really a possibility.”
Dennis Praet has spent his entire career up to date at Anderlecht, making 107 league appearances and scoring 16 goals.
He has represented most Belgium youth sides starting from Under-15 level and was also handed his senior Red Devils debut.
Praet, who can cover a number of positions in midfielder, is widely regarded as one of Belgium’s hottest prospects at the moment and it appears that it is only a matter of time before he leaves Anderlecht for greener pastures.
