(GSM) – Belgian champions Anderlecht appear to have found the right form, beating Germinal Beerschot 4-0 in Saturday’s Pro League action.

Not five minutes had been played in Brussels when Mbark Boussoufa put the home side in the lead, after which it did take Anderlecht a while to take further distance from their opponents.

In the 70th minute, it was Matias Suarez to double the lead and end Germinal’s hope for an equaliser. Tom de Sutter added another two minutes later and Jan Polak scored Anderlecht’s fourth with nine minutes to go.

Gent moved into fifth place following a 2-1 win over newly promoted AS Eupen, who did take the lead through Matthias Lepiller in the 26th minute. Elimane Coulibaly balanced the score in the 57th however and an own goal from Fazli Kocabas set the score to 2-1 with six minutes left.
