(GSM) – Anderlecht remain on course to win the Belgian league crown after a 1-3 win at Gent on Wednesday.

The Brussels outfit got the opening goal through Mbark Boussoufa in the tenth minute and Roland Juhasz doubled the lead 12 minutes later. When Guillaume Gillet made it 0-3 with six minutes left in the first half, the match was all but decided.

Adnan Custovic pulled one back shortly after the hour but Anderlecht held on to their lead for another three points.

Club Brugge remained at eight points from the leaders following a 3-0 win over Kortrijk. Ivan Perisic scored in the 48th and 70th minute and Maxime Lestienne added a third in the 88th.

Sint-Truiden moved into fourth place at the expense of Kortrijk, beating Zulte-Waregem 1-2 in Wednesday’s remaining match. Peter Delorge and Sebastien Siani scored for the visitors, while only Chris Makiese did so for the hosts.
