(GSM) – Manchester United midfielder Anderson could be on the verge of Old Trafford exit by hinting a return to Porto.

Anderson, who has made just one Premier League appearance this season, reportedly fell out with manager Sir Alex Ferguson in pre-season and has slipped down the pecking order at United.

The Brazil international also suffered from alleged disciplinary issues last season before a cruciate ligament injury in February ended his campaign.

With his future at United far from certain, the 22-year-old is contemplating heading back to the Portuguese Liga in order to revive his career.

Anderson said: “I am good in Manchester but I’d like to return to Portugal and my preference would be Porto.”
