Brazilian midfielder Anderson could be leaving Old Trafford at the end of the season, reports the Sunday Mirror.
The 24-year-old has failed to earn a regular starting berth at Manchester United and it appears club officials are starting to lose patience with him.
Even with Darren Fletcher and Paul Scholes missing most of the current campaign, the Brazilian have made just 6 Premier League starts and it looks as though he will be offloaded in the summer transfer window.
Anderson could be returning to Portugal six years after leaving FC Porto to join the Red Devils in a £17 million move.
He has since made just 95 Premier League appearances for Manchester United, scoring mere 5 goals in the process.
Anderson will not be the only player leaving Old Trafford in the summer, with Anders Lindegaard, Nani and Javier Hernandez all linked with a summer move away from the club.
