Manchester United midfielder Anderson has poured cold water on speculation linking him with a January exit from Old Trafford.
Despite showing a lot of potential since making a €30 million move to Old Trafford, the Brazilian midfielder never quite managed to earn a regular starting berth.
After featuring in just 10 Premier League games last season, the 24-year-old has been linked with a January exit, but he has now moved to pledge his future to Red Devils.
“I know this is the best club for me and I am very happy here,” the Brazilian told reporters after the 4-2 win over Stoke.
“Sometimes I have had difficult moments but I’ve always got through them. I hope my injuries are behind me.”
Anderson arrived at Manchester United in a big money move from Porto in the summer of 2007, but numerous injuries prevented him from fulfilling his undoubted potential in England.
In total, the Brazilian has made just 86 Premier League appearances for the club, scoring 4 goals in the process, but he also featured in 33 Champions League matches.
