Andre Ayew cools off transfer talk

Marseille winger Andre Ayew has moved to deny reports that he will be leaving the club in the near future.

Reports in the media have linked the Ghanaian with Bayern Munich and Arsenal in recent weeks, but the player says he is perfectly happy at Velodrome.

“I do not wish to go. I’m not thinking about it,” the Marseille forward told RTL.

“What is important is not to go abroad, it is to make good progress and to put in good performances with this club.”

Ayew also added that he was happy to be playing alongside his brother Jordan at Marseille.

“It’s very fun to be together at this club, a club that we love and that we train with.

”We know at some point we may be obliged to separate, but for now we are very young and we are trying to take our time and do what needs to be done. We are in no hurry to leave.”
