Marseille forward Andre Ayew admits the playing for Bayern Munich would be a dream come true.
The highly rated forward is widely tipped to leave Velodrome for greener pastures in the summer, with a number of high-profile sides interested in his signature.
Bayern Munich are one of the interested clubs and the Ghana international now reveals that he would relish the prospect of playing for such a big club.
“Bayern are a dream for all the Marseille players. A good and exciting championship with lots of trophies won every year – they have a huge history”, Ayew was quoted as saying in Le Parisien.
“They have the same status as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea – the ultimate aspiration.”
However, the player remains committed to the French giants and believes he is not yet ready for a big club move.
“I need to go step by step. I’m not focused on that yet. I dreamed of playing first team football with Marseille and it’s really great. I want to win something with France.”
Andre Ayew is the son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele and he made his first team debut for Marseille in 2007.
The 22-year-old has since developed into one of the key players at Velodrome, while he is considered one of the stars in Ghana national team as well.
Andre’s younger brother Jordan also plays for Marseille as an attacker.
