French newspaper L’Equipe has suggested that Marseille forward Andre Ayew could be leaving Stade Velodrome in the summer.
OM have so far resisted temptation to cash in on their star player, but everything suggests a summer exit is on the cards.
Namely, the Ghanaian has a contract until June 2015 at Stade Velodrome and with Marseille looking to rebuild the squad at the end of the season, Ayew looks likely to leave.
The 24-year-old is heavily linked with a switch to English Premier League, where Liverpool and Newcastle are reportedly keen.
Andre Ayew, who has just returned into action following a lengthy spell on the sidelines, has spent his entire career at Marseille, bar loan spells with Arles and Lorient.
He has made a total of 118 Ligue 1 appearances for OM and went on to score 30 goals in the process.
Ayew has also managed 6 goals in 37 outings for Ghana, and is expected to star for the Black Eagles at the 2014 World Cup.
