Marseille forward Andre Ayew admits he would be delighted to continue his career in German Bundesliga.
The Ghana international is almost certain to leave Stade Velodrome this summer as the club plan to cash in on several senior players.
Sport Bild understands that Schalke and Borussia M’gladbach are among clubs showing interest in the 24-year-old footballer.
Ayew has now moved to suggest that a summer switch to Bundesliga would appeal to him, which will be music to ears of the two interested sides.
“Bundesliga is one of the strongest leagues in the world. I can certainly imagine playing there to hone my skills,” Ayew confessed to Sport Bild.
“It would also be a lot of fun to play in the same league where my friend Prince (Boateng) operates, that would make everything a lot more interesting.”
Andre Ayew has come through the youth ranks at Marseille while he also enjoyed loan spells with Lorient and Arles before nailing down a regular starting berth at Stade Velodrome.
The 24-year-old has made a total of 132 Ligue 1 appearances for OM, and scored 34 goals. He was in fine form for Ghana at the 2014 World Cup, having bagged 2 goals in 3 starts.
