Andre Carrillo set for permanent Watford stay

Portuguese daily newspaper Record claims that Peruvian winger Andre Carrillo will soon be joining Watford on permanent basis.

The 26-year-old arrived at Vicarage Road in the summer on a year-long loan deal, and he didn’t need a lot of time to showcase his skills.

According to Record, Watford have informed Benfica that they are interested in a permanent deal and the two clubs are expected to reach an agreement in the January window.

Andre Carrillo had made a name for himself at Sporting CP, and he caused a great deal of controversy when he decided to join arch rivals Benfica on a free transfer.

The Peruvian footballer didn’t quite manage to impress at Estadio da Luz, but he seems to have found his feet in English Premier League.
