Andre Schurrle to West Ham?

At the time of writing, West Ham sit in the relegation zone of the Premier League. For many people the Hammers are a team that should be competing for a top six spot, not scrapping for survival, and manager David Moyes will need to make a big statement in January if he is to turn the club’s fortunes around.

The man who could help catapult the Irons back up the table is none other than Borussia Dortmund winger Andre Schurrle, according to German publication Bild. The former Chelsea man has been struggling for game time in Germany, and has featured just four times in the Bundesliga this season.

The Hammers meanwhile sit 18th in the Premier League table, just one point from safety, and will need to bolster their squad in the upcoming transfer window. Schurrle has always had a keen eye for goal, and for a West Ham side that has scored just 22 times all season that could be invaluable.
