Andrea Barzagli linked with United States move

Juventus stopper Andrea Barzagli could be moving to the United States at the end of the season, according to Tuttosport.

The 35-year-old has just over a year left on his deal with the Bianconeri and he may consider leaving at the end of the current campaign.

Tuttosport has learned that New York Cosmos are weighing up a move for the veteran centre-back as they hope to further reinforce the playing squad.

Former Serie A star Amauri and Andrea Mancini, the son of famous coach Roberto Mancini, are already on the books of the NASL side, and now the Italian contingent could grow further.

The Brooklyn based club have overcome serious financial problems following the arrival of Rocco B. Commisso and they will feature in the 2017 NASL campaign.

The objective now is to sign few more quality footballers before the start of the season, while they also have plans to strengthen in the summer.
