Italian newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Inter Milan are considering a summer bid for Hoffenheim defender Andreas Beck.
The Nerazzurri are on the lookout for a right-sided defender, but their attempts to sign Bacary Sagna and Martin Montoya have been in vain.
It is for that reason that they have turned their attention to Hoffenheim stalwart Andreas Beck.
Sporting director Piero Ausilio watched the player in action at the weekend as Hoffenheim faced Mainz, while also making a check on club’s other target Jean-Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
Andreas Beck has been a loyal servant to the club for almost six years now, having made 175 Bundesliga appearances for the Rhein-Neckar Arena outfit, scoring 3 goals.
The 27-year-old also has nine Germany caps to his name but last appeared for the national team in November 2010.
After enjoying an away triumph over Hellas Verona, Inter Milan are available at 1/2 to defeat Atalanta at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
