Andreasen will not join Hannover

Hannover’s hopes of signing Leon Andreasen look set to be scuppered by Roy Hodgson’s reluctance to sell. The Danish defender had looked to be heading to Germany during the January transfer window, with speculation surrounding his future dragging on for some time.

Hannover manager Dieter Hecking admits the opportunity to reach an agreement may have gone. “This is really difficult,” he told BILD. “We have lost time. I think our chances our now less than 50-50.”
