Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka believes new boss Guus Hiddink has what it takes to bring success back to Stamford Bridge.
The 29-year-old is looking forward to play under the former South Korea and PSV Eindhoven boss.
The Frenchman believes Luiz Felipe Scolari was forced to leave Stamford Bridge, due to The Blues’ poor season so far.
Anelka told Les Dessous du Sport: “This coach (Hiddink) has won many titles.
“Every time he joins a team, things turn in the right way.
“I previously played against teams that he managed – Korea with Les Bleus and PSV with Fenerbahce.
“Staying was difficult for Scolari regarding the bad results we accumulated.
“It didn’t work out since the start of the year, I have no idea why.â€Â
