Anelka knows his next destination

Chelsea forward Nicolas Anelka claims that he already knows where he will play his football in 2012.

Chelsea have just revealed that they had accepted the player’s transfer request, meaning that he will be allowed to leave in January.

Tottenham Hotspur and Chinese side Shanghai Shenshu have been showing interest in the Frenchman, and the player admits he already knows his next destination.

“I`ve known for a little while where I`ll be on January 2,” Anelka was quoted as saying on his official website.

The player added that he understood Chelsea’s decision to sell him in January.

“The club, which is going through a difficult time, has decided to work with Chelsea’s players of the future and, as I am a good professional, I have accepted this.”
