French newspaper Le 10 Sport understands that Nicolas Anelka has set his sights on leaving the Italian giants.
Anelka, 34, signed a short-term deal with the Bianconeri in the January transfer window, but has had a disappointing start to his career in Italy.
The Frenchman made just two competitive appearances for the Old Lady, with Mriko Vucinic, Sebastian Giovinco, Alessandro Matri and Fabio Quagliarella all in front of him in the pecking order.
According to Le 10 sport, Anelka has lost his patience and will request his contract to be terminated even before the season ends.
Juventus chiefs are unlikely to stand in his way considering that the player is clearly not in the first team plans of boss Antonio Conte.
Nicolas Anelka has played for some of Europe’s top clubs during his illustrious career, but a move to Italian Serie A clearly proved to be the wrong decision.
