Spanish newspaper El Confidencial understands that Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria is interested in a move to Monaco.
The 25-year-old is reportedly unhappy with his status at Santiago Bernabeu and is ready to consider a January exit.
According to El Confidencial, the Argentine is hoping to join free-spending Monaco at the earliest opportunity.
He has, therefore, instructed his agent Jorge Mendes to try and facilitate a move to Stade Louis II.
Real Madrid will not be too keen on selling their prized asset, especially with boss Carlo Ancelotti holding the midfielder in high regard.
Angel Di Maria has clocked up a total of 13 La Liga appearances this season, but could only manage 1 goal and 2 assists in the process.
Real Madrid have been given a lifeline in the title chase as Barcelona were beaten by Athletic Bilbao, with los Blancos now 2/1 to lift the league trophy.
