Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna could be the subject of a summer bid from Lazio, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Biancocelesti plan to sign two centre-backs ahead of the new season as the likes of Andre Dias and Giuseppe Biava will be leaving when their contracts expire in June.
And Il Corriere dello Sport has learned that Juventus stopper Angelo Ogbonna has been identified as the primary target.
Lazio plan to use the Bianconeri’s interest in Senad Lulic to lure Ogbonna to Stadio Olimpico in a potential swap deal.
The Italy international has seen little playing time since swapping Torino for local rivals Juventus, having made just 12 league appearances this season.
The Biancocelesti, therefore, hope he would be interested in a move to Stadio Olimpico, where he would immediately command a regular starting berth.
Lazio host Ogbonna’s former club Torino in a match that could have a big effect on their Europa League hopes, with Edy Reja’s charges priced at 4/5 to emerge victorious.
