(GSM) – Galatasaray suffered their fourth defeat in eight league games on Sunday, losing 2-4 at home against Ankaragücü.
The visiting side at Ali Sami Yen needed only four minutes for Metin Akan to silence the crowd with an early opener.
Ozgur Cek doubled the advantage six minutes after the break, but Czech striker Milan Baros pulled one back another six minutes later.
Ankaragücü demonstrated flexibility as Stanislav Sestak restored the two-goal gap on the hour but Baros again found the target five minutes later for 2-3.
While ‘Gala’ hoped to find a late equaliser, it was instead Ankaragücü’s Turgut Sahin to add a fourth away goal in the final minute.
Galatasaray were a man down for the final half hour after goalkeeper Ufuk Ceylan received a straight red card in the 62nd minute.
