There is always a saga with Marko Arnautovic. The Austria international of Serbian descent has been a big story in transfer rumour mills in the previous transfer windows, but it looks like that could be the case this summer as well. According to Sky Sports, West Ham have rejected a €22 million offer from a Chinese Super League club for their star striker.
Sky Sports says the Hammers dismissed the bid instantly, accusing it of being ‘an insult’ for that quality of player. Speculation has been swirling around the future of the 30-year-old Austrian, but Football London reports Arnautovic is yet to ask for a move away from the London club. According to some other sources, Arnautovic has already asked to be put on a transfer list, as he wants move out of the club.
Arnautovic has had a couple of good seasons in goalscoring terms at London Stadium, but it looks like he is really ready for a move to China.
