La Liga champions Barcelona drew 2-2 away to Osasuna on Saturday. Roberto Torres opened the scoring early, but second-half strikes from Ansu Fati and Arthur turned the game around in favour of the Catalans. However, with 10 minutes remaining, Gerard Pique unwisely lifted his arm and touched the ball inside his own box. Torres stepped up and completed his brace from the spot to steal a point for his team.
It wasn’t the first time Pique has done something like this and did damage to his team, whether it’s Barcelona or Spain. With VAR in action in Spain for a year, you’d think he’d have given it up by now. But no.
