Italian champions Juventus are keeping close tabs on Palermo forward Franco Vazquez, La Gazzetta dello Sport has suggested.
The Rosanero chairman Maurizio Zamparini yesterday confirmed the Bianconeri’s interest in Paulo Dybala, who has become one of the hottest commodities in European football.
La Gazzetta dello Sport has now suggested that Juventus are also hot on the trail of his attacking partner Franco Vazquez.
And while his teammate usually operates as a centre forward, Vazquez can play as a second striker or an attacking midfielder, and he is reportedly on the verge of obtaining an Italian passport.
The 25-year-old has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 6 goals and producing another 7 assists in 21 Serie A matches.
Juventus will attempt to complete a double swoop for Dybala and Vazquez in the summer, but that could prove a very difficult task.
Meanwhile, the likes of Simone Zaza, Domenico Berardi and Daniele Rugani are all expected to return to Turin.
