Secolo XIX has learned that Borussia Dortmund are the latest high-profile club to have joined the race for Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick.
The Czech Republic international quickly become one of the hottest commodities in Italian Serie A, with a summer move to a top European club now on the horizon.
While other Serie A sides are keen on his services, Inter Milan recently emerged as the favourites to land the 21-year-old footballer, but recent reports suggest that Borussia Dortmund have been casting admiring glances his way as well.
The Millionaires are in the market for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s successor and while Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette is believed to be at the top of their hit-list, they are also exploring other targets.
Meanwhile, Patrik Schick enjoyed an excellent start to his career in Italy, bagging 11 goals in just 10 Serie A starts, although he did make another 18 substitute appearances.
