Portuguese goalkeeper Anthony Lopes has all but confirmed that he has no plans to leave Lyon in the foreseeable future.
The 24-year-old has spent his entire professional career with les Gones and now has two seasons behind him as first choice keeper.
Lopes won the 2014/2015 Ligue 1 Best Goalkeeper award and recently signed a new deal at the club until 2020.
The Portugal international has been on the radar of top European clubs, but he has made it clear he is perfectly happy at Stade Gerland.
“I owe everything to the club and many of us owe him a lot,” Lopes told France Football. “As a little boy I was already watching games at Stade Gerland. I started here nine years ago and have lived my best years at Lyon.”
Miguel Lopes has so far appeared for the club in 74 Ligue 1 matches, while featuring in 18 European games.
Despite the fact he had been born in France, the talented goalkeeper decided to represent Portugal on international level and has so far made one appearance for the Selecao. He is currently Portugal’s second choice keeper behind Sporting Lisbon hotshot Rui Patricio.
