Lazio midfielder Antonio Candreva is moving closer to joining Paris Saint-Germain, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Biancocelesti are set to purchase the remaining half of the player’s contract from Udinese, but that does not necessarily mean he will be staying at Stadio Olimpico.
Il Corriere dello Sport reports that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to offer around €30 million for the Italy international, which would be very difficult to refuse.
Seeing as how Lazio have failed to secure European qualification, they will have no option but to cash in on Candreva in case of a very good offer.
The 27-year-old, who scored 12 goals in 37 league matches last season, recently admitted he was flattered by the interest from Paris Saint-Germain, which is enough to suggest he is pondering a summer exit.
The Biancocelesti have so far secured the signature of striker Filip Djordjevic, while they are reportedly closing in on midfielders Dusan Basta and Marco Parolo.
