Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte wants to sign Nicolo Zaniolo from AS Roma in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss Conte has told the Tottenham board to secure the services of Italy international attacking midfielder Zaniolo from Serie A club Roma this summer.
Fichajes have added that Zaniolo wants to leave Roma this summer to play for a bigger club. Former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners Juventus are keen on the 23-year-old, who is valued at €50 million. Tottenham could try to include one of their players to get a deal for Zaniolo done.
Zaniolo has been on the books of AS Roma since 2018 and has established himself as one of the better young creative players in Serie A. The 23-year-old, who can also play as a centre-forward, made 23 starts and five substitute appearances in Serie A for Roma last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.
