April 13th: Saturday’s English Accumulator – 7/1

While it might be this season’s epic Premier League title scarp which steals most of Saturday’s headlines, we have a stacked weekend of European action.

With a full fixtures list from across the continent, there are a host of intriguing betting markets available.

So, for those of you who are looking to stick on a Saturday acca, we have taken an in-depth look at three of the best European betting tips.

Saturday, April 13th

BST 14:30 RB Leipzig vs Wolfsburg

While RB Leipzig might have seen their Champions League adventure come to an end last month following a 2-1 aggregate defeat against Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid, Marco Rose’s men are enjoying a real domestic flurry. Last seen putting in a thumping performance as they stormed their way to a 4-1 romp away at Freiburg, Saturday’s hosts have collected 13 points from their previous five Bundesliga appearances. Sat firmly in the driving seat to clinch another top-four finish this season, the former Borussia Dortmund boss will be calling on his attacking talismans to spearhead Leipzig’s charge this weekend. Bagging a first-half brace away at Freiburg last time out and heavily linked with a blockbuster European switch this summer, Belgium international Lois Openda has notched 10 goals across all formats since opening the New Year. Although Wolfsburg might have initially had their sights set on mounting a genuine top-six charge this season, the Wolves are at the heart of a major Bundesliga nightmare. Last seen putting in another worrying display as they slumped to a routine 3-1 loss at home against Borussia Monchengladbach, Saturday’s guests have lost four of their previous five top-flight showdowns. Firmly looking over their shoulder at a looming relegation scrap, Wolfsburg have collected just a single win from their previous 13 Bundesliga outings. With that extended rut stemming all the way back to December 16th, ex-Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has a real job on his hands here.

Tip: Lois Openda to score anytime @ 19/20

15:30 Guimaraes vs Farense

Although Guimaraes might have eventually fallen short in their bid to punch a European ticket last season, Saturday’s hosts have their sights firmly set on going one step further this time around. Last seen putting in what was an iconic performance away at Portuguese giants Porto as they secured a 2-1 victory, the mood in Alvaro Pacheco’s camp should be at a red-hot high. Only continuing on a major purple patch on either side of March’s international break, the Conquerors have won all of their previous five straight top-flight appearances. Heading into the fortnight interval with a 2-1 victory away at Chaves, Guimaraes will certainly be smelling the chance to make another statement here. Opening this weekend’s fixtures with just their goal difference keeping them outside the European places, Pacheco’s men have also secured consecutive Primera Liga victories in front of their own supporters. Likewise, landing a 2-1 win when they met Saturday’s guests for their reverse top-flight meeting on December 2nd, the Whites are rightfully tipped as a standout contender this weekend. While Farense might sit in pole position to extend on their Primera Liga status, the Algarve-based outfit have shown some continued inconsistencies since opening the New Year. Despite securing a 2-0 win at home against Boavista last week, that is the only win that Jose Mota’s men have collected from their previous 10 appearances. Likewise, Farense have lost all of their last four straight showdowns on the road by an aggregate score of 9-5.

Tip: Guimaraes win & Over 1.5 goals @ 19/20

17:30 Real Valladolid vs Eldense

While Real Valladolid might have lost their La Liga status last season, the Pucelle have their sights set on securing an immediate top-flight return this time around. Last seen opening April with a routine 2-0 victory away at Cartagena, Saturday’s hosts currently find themselves sat just two points adrift of skyrocketing into the automatic promotion places. Marking their return from March’s international break with an eye-catching 3-1 romp at home against Eibar, Paulo Pezzolano’s men have lots just a pair of their previous 12 Segunda appearances – a run that stems all the way back to January 13th. Not conceding a single goal in over 300 minutes of second-tier action, Valladolid will also be excited by their continued success at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla. Along with collecting 10 points from their last four Segunda showdowns in front of their own supporters, Saturday’s hosts have also lost just a single contest on home soil since the end of August. Although Eldense might have enjoyed a real flurry when making a Segunda return this season, Fernando Estevez’s men are in the midst of a major second-tier rut. Last seen suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Andorra, Deportivo have collected just a single point from any of their previous five appearances. Signing off March with a woeful 5-1 drumming away at Eibar, Saturday’s guests have shipped 12 goals on their five-match winless run. Losing all of their last four showdowns outside of Valencia by an aggregate score of 11-3, Eldense face another real challenge here.

Tip: Real Valladolid win & Over 1.5 goals @ 13/10
